I have eaten at Acqua Al 2 Ristorante and its always a great meal. Your meal starts out with oven fresh bread and olive oil and balsamic. This time we were actually there for lunch and it was excellent. We did not choose any of the lunch specials though and went with items from the dinner menu.

We had the Carpaccio di Bresaola, which is thin slices of air dried fillet mignon served on a bed of arugula and topped with sliced Parmesan cheese and olive oil. The Insalata con Tonno e Cecchi, tuna, garbanzo beans, mushrooms, carrots, celery, and kalamata olives tossed in a house vinaigrette. A soup of the day which was zucchini, and the Rigatoni alle Melanzane, tube shaped pasta with a tomato eggplant sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese. “Martin’s favorite”. The service was great, and the staff very attentive. Another great meal, we will be back soon.

I used to eat at Caffe Bella Italia many years ago but totally forgot about it for some reason. Then they did a Bloomspot deal and we went and had dinner, and wow, glad we found them again. The food at Caffe Bella Italia is pretty amazing, they use fresh ingredients and all the dishes so far have been amazing.

We have had the filet mignon, the calamari, the beef carpaccio, the soup, the handmade lobster ravioli, and the fresh fish specials. They start you off with fresh bread done in their oven with a light marinara sauce. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and they check up on you frequently. We look forward to our next meal there.

Ok, I am not sure why I have not eaten here before, but we will be coming back again very soon. One word, Excellent. From start to finish it was a class act, there were four of us, we had 3 appetizers, 4 entrees, and 2 desserts and we walked out feeling very satisfied and not over stuffed.

The picture above is the Trota Oreganata for $17.95, a Trout  with Lemon Butter, Oregano, and Panko, served on top of Grilled Polenta, with Asparagus & Sweet Potato Nest. It was excellent we also had the Gamberi Busalacchi, the Salmon with squid special, and a spaghetti Bolognese, all the dishes were excellent. Our server did a great job telling us about the specials, and always making sure we had everything we needed. Great great job all round!

I honestly found this restaurant by using Opentable, more restaurants should look into using their reservation service. I have the app on my phone, which makes it really easy to make reservations.
