Crafted by Nick Savage, Edition No. 4 is a celebratory, balanced Speyside dram that highlights the interplay between European and American oak casks.   • Legs: The viscosity of The Macallan Edition No. 4 is medium-bodied. Slow-moving legs. A smooth and oily texture.


  • Aromas: The initial aromas are dominated by the influence of sherry casks, offering a delightful interplay of notes.
  • Fruit and Nut: Dried fruits like raisins and prunes, with a touch of walnut and even a hint of citrus, are revealed.
  • Spicy: Cinnamon and black pepper add complexity and warmth.
  • Other: Hints of honey, vanilla, and even some floral notes emerge aside the dominant presence of sherry.

Complexity: The Macallan Edition No. 4 nose is known for its beautiful balance. Sherry notes intertwine seamlessly with hints of malty sweetness and subtle oak influences.
